Texas Psychadelic Funk™

In the paraphrased words of Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart Texas Psychadelic Funk™ is hard to define, but I know it when I hear it. Of course he was referring to pornography and in this case we are referring to the melange of musical influences that inform the music produced by the GDB.

Take a base of classic rock and rythm and blues, stir in some country, some funk, some Texas and Austin influence with an eye to the sonic flavors of the world and you've got what we call TPF™

Welcome to the Gorilla Dance Band's website. Originators of Texas Psychadelic Funk™ (whatever that may be - we originally referred to ourselves as having "classic covers and original blues rock" but after G. Mark trademarked TPF™ he claimed we must use the term and aggressively protect it's usage in any fashion open to us). Take a look around, listen to some tunes and enjoy yourself.
